Get excited all, because this mission is just around the corner!!
Here's the skinny:
3:30-3:45-- meet down in B427. Here is where we will get a head count and divide up the groups of participants from there. Since a lot of people couldn't make it to the mission meeting today but still want to be part of it,this is the easiest way to assign groups. If I could get all girls to dress in all-blacks (or as close to all black as you can get) and have the guys wearing shirts/ties, that would be wonderful!!! Girls who are going to be representing The Bodies will get their masks on and get their signs. Authority figures will set their alarms for 4:30, and missing persons pictures will be distributed to those playing the family members.
3:55-- The Girls will head out in character to the concrete stair area between the bookstore and the new architecture building. Each girl will find her own place to lay down on the ground.
4:00- The Authorities will leave the Fine Arts building through the door by the green room and go up Redondo to the bookstore and with sidewalk chalk will trace an outline of each girl. Once they've done that, they are to stand on the second of the three stairs by the Girls. As soon as you (Girl) have been traced, you are to get up and wander aimlessly lost in the same area. Do NOT go down the stairs past the Authorities and do NOT acknowledge any one around you!
4:05-- The Families will leave the Fine Arts building through the door by the green room and head out to Central and approach the bookstore from that direction. Along the way, they are to ask anyone and everyone (totally up to their discretion) to help them find their daughter/sister/girlfriend/etc. When they get to the area, they continue trying to find their daughters NOT acknowledging the Girls on the steps. (note to those interested in playing family members: you cannot be afraid to talk to strangers so this role takes complete commitment to the story.)
4:20ish- I (Catie, as a Girl) will take one of the other Girls by the hand, and she will take another girl by the hand, and so on until we are all linked, and then we will slowly make our way back to B427.
4:30-- those people playing Authorities who should've set their alarms will have them go off, and then make their exit (saying things like "oh i'm sorry there's nothing we can do for you" if you happen to be talking to a family). They will return to B427 the same way they came. After the Authorities have left, the Family members can leave the same way they came.
