This really could be awesome. What would we hand out? Fake molotov cocktails? Tin-foil fakes? Nuclear codes? (Those would be cheap.)
Or how could we make some that look like the ones in cartoons--you know the black ball, the round rise, a fuse...this could totally be done. All we'd need would be foam balls from Hobby Lobby, wooden rings, something like pipe cleaners for the fuses, and some spray paint.... We could make a hundred of them and stack them in a pyramid for handing out.
Also, since we're "Bombs Not Food," shouldn't we encourage people not to eat?
We can say something like "___[This many]__homeless people in America don't eat every day, and ___[this many]___people around the world every year apparently prefer dying to eating. Eating is overrated, and obviously not everyone does it. Fuck eating, let's kill."
I like you character theme idea as well. We could all be dressed in camoflouge, business suits, uniforms....
This seems like it would be an awesome statement.
I have an idea that seems like a key to this being a success though: I think we should do this when Food Not Bombs is doing one of their events, and we should be directly across from them. Maybe we could even get into a (prearanged) shouting match with them about things; we could even seem to be on the side of UNM in the whole UNM vs. Food Not Bombs fiasco.
This whole thing is such a great idea--it could be so awesome.
