Hey, I'm new here, grew up in Abq but live out of town for school, and I just heard about this group. I'd love to join you for some summer missions.
I had an idea, and I don't know how feasible it would be, but here it is: Reverse shopping.
People come in and shop for a while with carts and baskets, picking up products and memorizing the route they've taken through the store. Then, at a pre-determined time, they stop, then begin to go through the route completely in reverse (perhaps even in slow-motion reverse, for safety's sake). Then, after five-ten minutes of reverse shopping, they stop, then resume shopping in the exact order all over again.
One foreseeable problem with this is the inability to look behind you. There might be others. Ideas? How does this sound to you guys?
A variation of this is broken record shopping, where at a predetermined time people start "skipping," where they repeat a short action over and over again. It's safer, and it's kind of like freezing, but with a twist.
Another idea is going through a store in a group and acting like art critics, critiqueing the soup labels, the t-shirt designs, talking about the artist's emotional motivation behind designing Cap'n Crunch with such an oddly shaped hat, etc. What is Mr. Clean trying to convey with his closed stance? It'd be awesome to BS up EVERYTHING we see. A variation of this would be entering with lab coats and clipboards like med students, and trying to diagnose and come up with hypothetical treatments for cereal mascots, toys, etc.
What do you lot think?
